I am a lifelone fan of The Grateful Dead and the various side bands of its assorted members. I was an avid taper and tape trader/collector. I am currently working on the lengthy process of recollecting my vast collection of live shows in the digital domain, as I lost my large volume of cassete tapes, some due to a roof leak and others in the move from California.
Another passion of mine is cooking and baking. I love trying out new recipes, and love improvising in the kitchen. If you have any favorite recipes you'd like to share, I welcome the opportunity to try them out.

Below, find my recipe for no-cook barbecue sauce, a favorite that works well with any meat, in the crockpot, on the grill, in the oven, you name it.
1 cup Ketchup..........................1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil (can use olive oil, but not needed)
1/4 cup soy sauce......................1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon dry mustard...............1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons black pepper...............4 cloves garlic, crushed
4 teaspoons dried oregano
Mix thoroughly and store in a tightly sealed jar, can be stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
